Crisp White Blouse & Chunky Knit Pullover

This chunky knit pullover by Theyskens’ Theory has been such a stud this season with its vibrant mustard shade and its laissez-faire side pocket cuts. For this look, I opted for a white collar blouse underneath from Uniqlo (one just opened up in Chicago!) and a pair of casually ripped, black skinny jeans from Zara.

What’s in my Bag 2015

Greetings Loved Ones [let’s take a journey…*sorrynotsorry],

As the end of the year approaches, I thought I would do a quick “What’s in my Bag?” post to showcase my favorite products. Honestly cannot believe it is December going on January. This year was a blast, and I can’t wait to see what the new year brings!

Keep Your Stuff Together

Bag: Céline

I have been sporting around the Céline Nano Tote this year, and to say I have been obsessed with it would be an understatement. The size is beyond perfect, and it also limits me from carrying too much, which is a massive problem for me [new year’s resolution anyone?]–I am the person who will pack a 50 lb bag for a 2-day vacation because I cannot narrow down my choices so I just bring everything. Literally everything. Yes, that is me. #noshame

Be Punctual

Planner: Erin Condren

Ohkayyyyy, this planner has kept me organized alllll year around. It is essential to my day-to-day life. I admit, I will forget to use it for two weeks straight sometimes, and then I go ham and organize like crazy for 5 days and then the cycle starts again—-BUTTTT…..when I do remember to use it and really utilize all the features it offers, I am like an insane person who has every hour planned from waking up at 9:00 AM to writing a blog post at 6:15 PM. You must must must cop one of these Life Planners from Erin Condren… like click on this link right now (you’ll receive $10 off your order!) and order one. You did it? Fantastic. One of the best parts about this planner is that you can have your name on the cover but REPLACE the cover as many times as you’d like (if you saw the variety of cover options they had, you’d understand) . Now, I could literally ramble on about these insanely useful planners from Erin Condren, however, this post would take you around 4-5 hrs to read and I would’ve felt like I’ve sucked away most of your day, so on we go. One last thing!! Those pens on top of the planner are from Muji, and the tips are so fine. You will want to handwrite a book, they’re that fun to write with.

Don’t Kill Someone with Your Breath

Breath Savers: Sugarfina, Sour Patch Gum by Stride

You like eating salads with a ton of onions? Korean BBQ bathed in garlic? Well, then you know what I am talking about when I say that wherever you go afterwards, people absolutely do not want to talk to you when you smell like that. My current favorite lifesavers: ANYTHING, and I mean anything, from Sugarfina, and Sour Patch Kids REDBERRY gum (runs out of flavor fast, but smells divine).

Bat Your Eyelashes and Kiss Your Loved Ones

Mascara: Givenchy, Lip Products: c/o Glossier, Sugar Fresh

Make sure you are all dolled up, especially after your session of huffing and puffing at the gym. I know you too well, don’t I? This Givenchy mascara is lengthening and voluminous. Don’t be afraid to notice the packaging either! During the winter, my lips are the most chapped little things in the world. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it before. Luckily, I have my two sidekicks. 1. Glossier coconut balm dotcom (what a clev name) to make my lips moisturized, hydrated, and plumped and 2.  Fresh’s Sugar Tinted Lip Balm for color and shine. The Glossier balm is currently out of stock, however, I do believe they have the same one but without the coconut extracts. Not as luxurious and refreshing, but still a worthy alternative no less. It is the best lip balm I have ever come across. Absolutely in love with it.

Whoa, Look at her Skirt

The skirt featured here has a pattern that I find extremely soothing. There is an earthly, nature feel to it that I’m in love with. The length of this skirt is just right– it is fun, flirty, and youthful. Shorter skater skirts like this one I’m wearing, goes very well with structured heels or over-the-knee boots but I chose these lace-ups because my days of wearing them are numbered. I have to get some mileage on these adorable shoes before it gets too cold! As for the top, do you like the open-back on this turtleneck?  I love its dual personality: conservative in front but playful and daring in the back. Paradox/juxtaposition/bipolarity personified in this article of clothing…?
