Ever wonder how I get my hair to look like this….?
Hairstyles can make or break an outfit. My hair is long and straight so it doesn’t require too much maintenance but it can get kind of boring! And since I’m not good at ponytails or braids or buns (these require craftsmanship!), I came to rely on curls. Curls have become essential for my signature look. It’s one of the only hairstyles I’ve come to master, and my secret is…drum roll please… in the wand. Not the ones with phoenix feathers or dragon heartstrings though! 😉
These days, I love the ghd (Good Hair Day) wand. I had the opportunity to try the Classic Wave Wand from their newest ghd Curve® line. I have tried everything from NuMe to Revlon to other brands from Ulta but none have made my hair look as voluminous and wavy as ghd. Not to mention, ghd is super easy to use!
School is officially here! These photos were taken in New York before I left, so don’t be fooled by the crisp blue pool or the lush greens in the background. Reality is here, and I really do miss basking in the sun. It’s still in the 80s here in Boston, so I’m not saying bye just yet. Although I do appreciate the concept of summer and what it represents, wearing layers, drinking hot chai and pumpkin spice lattes, and being around FALL-ing colorful leaves is just as comforting. Reminisce over the last few days of mid-September and jump into that tempting, ice cold pool one last time. It’s your last chance!
It’s been a long time since I last posted…*insert purple frowny devil face* I have been busy with packing and unpacking for a family reunion and school. I’ve been living out of a suitcase for the last 2 weeks –the nomad that I’ve become. 20 luggages into aunt’s house. Then out. Now into the hotel. Soon into the dorm…Every step of the way, someone commenting why I don’t travel light…It’s been a whirlwind of craziness and chaos. Anyhoo, whilst I was in New York, I found this killer beehive wall. Of course it was the supreme photo opp. You could say that I took advantage…
